tell me a story

i'm adding this feature to my [loose] blogging schedule. on tuesdays (of course the goal is every tuesday, but let's get real...it'll probably every other week or so!) i'll post a photo and i want you to tell me a story. how does the photo speak to you? what's the story behind it? what's the background of the subject? where did he/she come from? where are they headed? etc... you can leave one line or 100 lines. get creative...

ok, this is chloe and she just ran away from home where her family didn't understand her. She looks sad right now, and cold, but tomorrow she has no idea about all of the amazing opportunities that are about to come her way!

Fun! I love it!

Heather and her love, Jon, just had an amazing day picnicing and feeling the cool breeze across their faces. Jon works as an EMT and got called to an emergency. So he had to leave Heather and their lovely day and tend to somebody else that needed him. She decided to lay under a tree and think abou the magical time they had while it lasted....until an apple fell and hit her on the head and knocked her out. Where's that EMT when you need him???? The End.

What a fun idea! BTW Jamie's story made me laugh with the apple!

Cally is a struggling actress who can't find any work in the U.S.. She received a phone call that day from her agent saying she landed a tv role with a 5 year contract, but she would have to move to France. Her family has owned an apple orchard for 3 generations and they want Cally to take the orchard over within the next year. She is taking some time to ponder which direction she should go in, her love for the family orchard or her love for acting.

She was so tired from running away from the michael Jackson panda robot factory that she layed down to rest. You could hear her lightly murmor the words "Koala bears suck...."

She was beginning to go crazy living reality. Everyday was the same. Work, home, sleep. Work was burning her out. At home she had a boyfriend who she'd been with for a few years, and now all they did was talk down the other, as if they now hated each other. But they'd always make up later, and it was like a never ending circle of confusion. And as for sleep, she never wanted to sleep. Because her days went by so fast that she felt she wasn't able to enjoy life. So she was tired of it all, thus she ran. She ran far. And she ended up here, where she lay without a worry in the world.

this is where they first met. on a sunny day when the apples had not yet fallen, he asked her for her name underneath this tree. they fell in love, as in all stories that end with a broken woman. she comes back to this tree and lies beneath it's comforting branches in hopes that she will fall asleep and wake up to that first day, before everything got so complicated and hard. she dreams of when their love was blissful and easy, but she always wakes up only to find the apples are still on the ground rotting. and she knows it's still over and what she had with him is just as dead as the fallen fruit around her. she will come back tomorrow and attempt to travel through time again, perhaps she will succeed..
